The Black Kong, feeling the pain, immediately threw the snake-bodied creature in his hand.
The snake creature was relentless and, after landing, pounced once again.
"Courting death!"
The Black Kong snorted coldly, delivering a punch that turned the snake creature into a mist of blood. He then looked at Abigail in the distance and smirked wickedly, "Beautiful lady, it's just a little snake. Did you really think it could hurt me?"
"Hurt you? Why don't you take a look at where it bit you," Abigail retorted with a hint of mockery on her lips.
"Hmm?"
The Black Kong looked down and saw two small pinhole-like wounds where the snake had bitten his hand.
The wounds were small, and there wasn't even any blood. However, around the wounds, a strange blackness had appeared.
The blackness was darker than the Black Kong's skin, almost like ink.
The most bizarre thing was that the black mark was rapidly spreading, continuously burrowing into the Black Kong’s veins.
In just a few breaths, it had already covered most of his palm.
"What is this?"
The Black Kong frowned, and his smile vanished instantly.
He had always prided himself on his body being invulnerable, so he hadn't taken the attack seriously. But to his surprise, though the snake creature was small, its fangs had pierced his defense.
Even more worrying was the unknown toxin that caused an inexplicable sense of dread in him.
He had a premonition: if the toxin continued to spread, his life might be in danger.
After all, while his body was invulnerable to weapons, it didn't mean he was immune to all poisons.
Realizing this, he no longer hesitated. His left hand quickly transformed into a pitch-black blade.
With a loud shout, he swung the blade down, chopping it into his right wrist.
"Crack!"
The blade cut through skin and muscle, reaching the bone, and blood spattered everywhere.
However, due to the Black Kong's strong defenses, even after cutting himself, his wrist wasn't severed completely.
"Ah!"
He roared and lifted the blade again, slashing down harder the second time, finally severing his wrist.
Such a brutal and bloody scene made the audience's scalps tingle. They hadn't expected the Black Kong to be so ruthless, chopping off his own hand without a moment's hesitation.
At this moment, the severed hand on the ground began to rot rapidly.
In just a few breaths, the entire hand turned into a puddle of blood.
"You reacted fast. Otherwise, if the toxin had spread throughout your body, losing a hand would have been the least of your worries," Abigail raised her eyebrows, a little surprised.
The snake was a highly toxic creature, carefully cultivated by the Witch Gu Sect. Though it appeared weak and harmless, it was incredibly lethal.
Anyone bitten by it, if not treated promptly, would turn into a puddle of blood within three minutes.
She hadn't expected the Black Kong to have the determination to sever his own hand, allowing him to narrowly escape death.
"You wicked woman! You want to kill me? It's not that easy!" The Black Kong's face twisted with rage.
As he spoke, his severed wrist began to twist and morph. The flowing blood stopped instantly.
A sharp black blade soon emerged from the wound.
Compared to the blade on his left arm, the one on his right was slightly shorter.
"What kind of monster is this? How can a severed arm turn into a blade?"
"Just like that priest earlier, this gorilla must have undergone genetic modification too."
"Disgusting!"
The transformation of the Black Kong's arms sparked whispered conversations among the crowd.
No wonder he dared to cut off his own hand—his arms could change shape.
With both fists turning into blades, his attack power and threat level increased dramatically.
"I originally wanted to have some fun with you, but since you’ve come at me so hard, it seems I’ll have to kill you."
The Black Kong slowly unfolded his twin blades. Under the sunlight, the edges gleamed with a dark luster. "But don’t worry. I'll finish you in one move. You won’t suffer much. Your perfect body will still be of use to me, hehe..."
"You ignorant fool. I was going to give you a quick death, but now I’ve changed my mind," Abigail's eyes grew cold.
As she spoke, she raised one hand, and from her sleeve shot a beam of red light, aimed straight at the Black Kong's face.
With the earlier lesson in mind, the Black Kong didn’t dare be careless. When he saw the red light coming, he immediately swung his blade and hit the target.
However, just as his blade struck the red light, there was a muffled "boom," and the red light exploded.
A thick red toxic mist engulfed the Black Kong and quickly spread forward. It was only stopped by Zhang Qizheng’s lightning at the edge of the arena.
"Ah~!"
At that moment, the Black Kong's agonizing scream echoed from within the red mist, sounding particularly miserable.
A large black figure burst out from the mist, frantically fleeing.
Even though he had only been in the mist for a second, the Black Kong was now covered in festering wounds, with blood pouring from his body.
The strangest thing was that his body was still shrouded in a layer of red mist, clinging to him like a maggot, continuously eating away at his flesh, emitting a sizzling sound.
The Black Kong thrashed wildly, trying to disperse the red mist from his body, but to no avail.
Not until the festering wounds were deep enough to reveal his bones did the red mist gradually fade.
By then, the Black Kong was bloodied and unrecognizable.
Though the wounds weren't fatal, the pain never ceased, far exceeding the agony of losing an arm by hundreds of times.
"You b*tch! I’ll kill you!"
The Black Kong, enraged and beast-like, charged at Abigail, his only thought now to tear her to pieces. - Marinien

For all I know, I'm just making this blog to post the chapters I, myself, didn't translate (heck, I won't even enter the website) for the Kirin Gang to enjoy. That being said, a big shoutout to Ton for the regular updates on Facebook, and to the God-knows-who (deym I forgot the name) who will post the chapters on Ton's behalf if he'll be out of Town. Either way, still, we give credits to the author @Marina Vittori (or whoever she claims to be). ENJOY!
