At the entrance of Chenfei tower, inside a luxurious sedan—
The driver watched Shuo Spanner stumble out, clutching his twisted wrist, face pale and contorted in pain. Startled, he quickly got out of the car.
“Young Master! What happened to you?”
“Damn it, what do you think?! Shut up! Get me to the hospital! Now! It hurts like hell!” Shuo Spanner shouted, kicking the driver before crawling into the back seat.
The driver didn’t dare say more and immediately started the engine, speeding toward the nearest hospital.
Inside the car, Shuo Spanner’s face twisted from agony as he stared at his deformed wrist. Hatred boiled in his chest like venom trying to rip its way out.
He grabbed his phone, using the fingers that could still move to shakily dial a number.
The call connected. A deep but slightly annoyed male voice came through:
“Shuo? What is it? I’m in a meeting.”
“Big Brother! Someone beat me! My… my wrist is broken!” Shuo Spanner cried, filled with humiliation and rage.
“What?!”
The voice instantly sharpened.
“In this territory, someone dared lay a hand on a member of the Spanner family? Who was it?”
“It was that gigolo kept by Natasha Harmon! At the Harmon Group! Big Brother, you have to avenge me! I want him dead! No—worse than dead! And that bitch Natasha, I also want to—”
“Enough!”
His brother's voice cut him off like a whip.
“Go to the hospital first. I heard you. I’ll handle it. Natasha Harmon… hmph. Looks like the Harmon family is getting a little too bold, forgetting the Spanners still exist. Don’t worry. I’ll get this justice back for you.”
Hearing his brother’s certainty, Shuo Spanner finally calmed down a little—though the hatred in his eyes only grew darker.
In the CEO’s office, the security team had already cleaned everything—blood and roses all gone.
Natasha waved her secretary and the guards away, closing the door.
She walked to Dustin’s side.
“You’re really okay?”
Dustin smiled.
“Just a fly. What trouble can that cause?”
“That Spanner kid is from the royal Spanner family in the capital. He’s just a useless collateral brat, but the Spanners are infamous for protecting their own. His brother, Hui Spanner, is one of the more capable young members of the family—ruthless and difficult to deal with. He definitely won’t let this go.” Natasha said seriously.
“Royal Spanner family?”
Dustin raised a brow, then chuckled lightly, completely unconcerned.
“If they come, I’ll deal with them. As for you—you must’ve been annoyed by that fly for a while now, huh?”
Seeing how little Dustin cared about the Spanner family, Natasha finally felt relieved.
Right.
Her man was someone unmatched beneath the heavens—why would he fear some collateral Spanner brat?
“Of course! He almost drove me insane! If my grandfather’s side didn’t have some ties with the Spanners, I would've thrown him out long ago!” Natasha huffed.
“If he comes again, I’ll beat him again. Every single time.”
Dustin’s tone was calm, but with a clear touch of dominance.
Natasha’s heart melted sweetly. She wrapped her arms around his.
“Alright! Enough about that idiot. You just came back. Today you’re not allowed to think about anything else. You’re going shopping with me!”
She grabbed the internal phone and instantly canceled all meetings and schedules for the entire day.
Then she took Dustin’s hand excitedly—
Today, nothing would interrupt their long-awaited date.
Their first stop: the city’s most luxurious shopping mall.
Natasha looked at Dustin’s slightly worn casual outfit. Though he still looked incredible in anything, she still felt distressed.
“Come on! Let’s get you some new clothes. My man must wear the best!”
Without giving him a chance to protest, she dragged him into a top-tier luxury men’s boutique.
The store staff immediately recognized Natasha’s rare temperament and her expensive attire. They rushed to serve her enthusiastically.
Natasha personally picked outfits for Dustin—shirts, suits, trousers, coats…
She practically made him try half the new season’s collection.
Though Dustin didn’t care much about clothing, he let her fuss over him.
When he stepped out of the fitting room wearing a perfectly tailored dark suit, the entire store seemed to brighten.
His tall frame was flawlessly outlined—broad shoulders, narrow waist, long legs.
Even without using any cultivation, his calm, worldly aura mixed with the suit’s sharp elegance, creating an irresistible presence.
“Sir, you look incredible in this suit!”
Even the female staff—used to seeing handsome customers—couldn’t help their eyes lighting up.
Natasha stared at Dustin, her eyes shimmering with admiration and pride.
She stepped close to fix his collar gently, examining him from both sides before nodding in satisfaction.
“Mm! Perfect. I really do have amazing taste.”
The female staff glanced at the stunning, noble-looking Natasha—
Any tiny fantasies they had immediately died.
Of course.
Only a goddess like her was worthy of a man like him. - Marinien
