Saving Lives

Li Wenxing and Qian Jin on the helicopter were so shocked they couldn’t speak.

From creating a tsunami, to freezing the sea, and finally shattering the ice with a single palm --- every step of the process was breathtaking.

If they hadn’t seen it with their own eyes, they wouldn’t believe anyone in the world could perform such a feat.

“There are a few fish that slipped through the net in the northwest. Hurry and take some people to deal with them. Time is tight --- I still have to rush to assist two other cities.”

High in the sky, after smashing tens of thousands of zombies with a single palm, Dustin didn’t stay --- he transformed into a meteor and vanished at high speed.

The zombie army in Wugang City had been wiped out, and the few remaining stragglers should be no problem for Li Wenxing.

If he can’t even handle that, then he’s unworthy of being the crown prince.

At this moment, on the streets of Liyang City,

The air was thick with the stench of blood and rot, enough to make one gag.

Li Juntang and a squad of guards were hiding in a crumbling bell tower, staring through a cracked glass window at the zombie horde surging like a tide. Cold sweat beaded on his forehead.

“Your Highness! The defenses at the southeast corner are about to collapse!”

A blood-soaked guard ran in, gasping for breath, his voice laced with undisguisable fear. “Those monsters are like madmen, constantly crashing against the barrier. Our brothers can’t hold out much longer!”

Li Juntang gripped the sword at his waist so tightly his knuckles turned white.

He looked out the window at the twisted faces and rapid movements of the zombies, his heart full of anxiety.

His team had been retreating when they were suddenly surrounded from behind by a massive wave of zombies.

Left with no choice, he ordered them to use the terrain for cover to resist the zombie horde.

But these zombies were immune to blades and bullets, impervious to fire and water --- extremely difficult to kill.

Half his personal guards had already perished, and if things continued like this, the situation would only get worse.

Just then, the bell tower’s door was violently slammed open, and several zombies charged in, roaring.

The guards immediately raised their weapons to fight. Amid flashes of blades and flying flesh, blood splattered everywhere.

But there were simply too many zombies. Soon, a few guards were pounced on and torn apart --- screams rang out endlessly.

“Retreat! Retreat now!”

Li Juntang’s face changed dramatically. Without hesitation, he led a few guards out the back door in escape.

At that moment, a streak of light flashed across the sky.

A white figure suddenly descended from the heavens like a god, appearing above the bell tower.

From that high vantage point, the white-clad figure gazed coldly at the dense zombie horde below, his eyes devoid of emotion.

“Hmph.”

He swiftly raised his right hand, and golden patterns visible to the naked eye gathered in his palm, radiating an oppressive aura.

The zombies below seemed to sense the danger and became even more frenzied, raising their heads and letting out shrieks toward the white figure in the sky.

“Perish!”

The raised palm suddenly pressed downward.

The golden energy gathered in his palm transformed into a dazzling beam of light, crashing down like a meteor, carrying a devastating force as it blasted into the zombies below.

“BOOOOM—”

A deafening explosion echoed as the ground trembled violently and stones flew in all directions.

Over a thousand zombies were instantly vaporized under the golden light, not even having time to scream before turning to dust and vanishing into the air.

Where there was once a dense horde, a massive empty clearing appeared in an instant.

The remaining zombies, stunned by the terrifying scene, halted in their tracks, too afraid to move forward.

Inside the bell tower, Li Juntang and the surviving guards stared, dumbfounded by the shocking sight, temporarily at a loss for words.

They had thought they were doomed --- but never imagined that a mighty figure would descend from the sky and obliterate over a thousand zombies with a single blow.

Such power was beyond anything they could have imagined.

The white figure landed on the ground and glanced at the remaining zombies, eyes still cold.

Without pause, his figure flashed and weaved through the zombie horde like a ghost.

Each wave of his hand turned dozens of zombies to dust.

Wherever he passed, it was total annihilation --- unstoppable and overwhelming.

In just a few short minutes, the streets of Liyang City were completely cleared of zombies by the white figure.

Once again, Li Juntang and the others were left speechless in awe. - Marinien

Elder Whitebone

Li Juntang knew the white figure was powerful, but he hadn’t expected it to be this powerful. In just a matter of minutes, the figure had devoured the overwhelming red mist using a technique like a divine dragon drawing in water, leaving not a trace behind. Such divine ability was far beyond anything he could imagine. Seeing it with his own eyes was far more shocking than anything he’d heard. Once the red mist vanished, the white figure waved a hand, and the energy vortex quickly dissipated. A blood-red bead slowly floated down from high above and finally landed in the white figure’s palm. Seeing the opportunity was ripe, Li Juntang immediately channeled his true qi and shouted, “You have dispersed the poisonous mist with divine powers and saved the entire city from disaster. I, Li Juntang, thank you on behalf of the people of this city. May I have the honor of meeting you face to face to express our gratitude properly?” This statement was skillfully crafted --- first, p...

Breaking The Siege

“Boom!!” A thunderous crash shook the earth. The moment the white figure landed, golden gales erupted from around him. The zombies that had rushed close were instantly shattered, as if colliding with an invisible barrier. Their grayish bodies exploded into fragments. Thick blackish-brown corpse fluid splattered onto the stone bricks, releasing foul-smelling steam that coiled into the air. “It’s that peerless master!” Someone shouted from within the inner gate fortress, and the once-terrified citizens suddenly erupted in thunderous cheers. When the red mist crisis had hit Lincheng, they had seen it with their own eyes --- a divine figure in white had absorbed the entire mist with unfathomable powers, saving the city from destruction. Now, with zombies besieging their ancient stronghold, seeing that familiar white figure again was like witnessing the return of their savior. “He’s finally here!” Li Guanglong, gripping his bloodstained saber, let out a long sigh of reli...

Tsunami

Li Wenxing followed Qian Jin’s line of sight and saw a ball of white light speeding across the sky in the distance. Wherever the light passed, it sliced a long trail through the clouds , splitting even the thickest formations clean in half. In just two breaths, the white light had already arrived above the port, bringing with it a howling gale that rocked their helicopter violently. Once the winds settled, Li Wenxing looked up --- and saw a man in white robes . The two weren’t far apart --- just about two hundred meters. With Li Wenxing’s eyesight, he should’ve been able to clearly make out the man’s face. But strangely, no matter how hard he looked, he couldn’t see his features at all . It was as if there was a mist obscuring the man’s face --- like something stood between them, clouding his vision. “Uncle Qian, can you see that peerless expert’s face clearly?” Li Wenxing asked Qian Jin. “No, it’s completely concealed. He must be deliberately hiding his appearance,”...
