Power of a Single Palm

The moment the tsunami came crashing down, the entire world seemed to darken.

A powerful gust of wind, squeezed by the force, swept outward in all directions.

In the blink of an eye, the entire port was engulfed in flying debris and billowing dust.

“Rumble—!”

The thousand-meter-high tsunami followed immediately after, slamming down onto the port with devastating force.

The ships anchored at the port were instantly smashed to pieces, then swallowed by the raging sea --- completely vanishing from sight.

And it wasn’t just the ships --- everything near the port, buildings, structures, and equipment alike ---

The instant the tsunami landed, it was as if they were made of paper, collapsing on contact.

The impact and destructive force of a wave over a thousand meters tall had already far exceeded Li Wenxing’s imagination.

Just watching from a distance made his scalp tingle and heart race.

In the span of a few breaths, the entire port had been drowned, and the surrounding zombie horde had also been overwhelmed --- devoured by the ocean.

The tsunami continued to surge forward.

Wherever it went, it swept away everything in its path.

Buildings, trees, grasslands --- or even the massive zombie horde --- nothing could withstand it.

The wave advanced for dozens of miles, only coming to a sudden stop after it had completely submerged every last zombie.

High above, Dustin suddenly formed a hand seal and gently pointed at the sea below.

“Seal!”

With a thunderous boom ---

A massive formation appeared on the surface of the sea.

Spanning nearly a kilometer in radius, the moment it took form, the surrounding temperature plummeted.

The scorching sun vanished, replaced by a bitter winter chill.

The roiling sea beneath the formation instantly froze solid, locking everything in place.

The fish swimming below, shattered ship remains, collapsed buildings, and swarms of zombies --- all were encased in ice.

At first, it was only a localized area. But as the chill spread, the frozen zone grew larger and larger.

In less than two minutes, every area the tsunami had touched was completely frozen into ice.

“Terrifying… utterly terrifying!”

From the helicopter, Li Wenxing looked down at the frozen ocean below, his scalp tingling in shock.

Just a tap of the finger --- and Dustin had frozen dozens of miles of ocean.

Such a divine ability was truly unheard of.

In fact, this was even more frightening than raising a thousand-meter tsunami.

Raising a wave only required moving water --- but freezing it on this scale meant forcibly removing its heat energy, a feat that consumed vastly more power.

“A Land-Immortal Realm expert has already surpassed the limits of humanity. Only such an existence could resolve this disaster so effortlessly,” Qian Jin marveled.

In an instant, Dustin had frozen over ten thousand invulnerable zombies --- a feat no missile or artillery could ever accomplish.

“It doesn’t look like it’s over yet…”

Li Wenxing stared unblinkingly at the white figure ahead.

Even after freezing the ocean, Dustin didn’t leave.

Instead, he raised one hand high into the air --- and slammed it down through the air toward the frozen ground below.

“Buzz --- !”

With a deafening roar ---

A gigantic golden palm materialized in midair, like a towering mountain, descending heavily toward the ice below.

The golden palm blotted out the sky, exuding a terrifying might.

As it pressed down, heaven and earth trembled, space itself twisted --- and even watching from afar, one felt an overwhelming sense of dread.

“Boom!!”

The giant golden palm smashed into the frozen surface with a thunderous crash.

In that instant, the ground quaked violently.

The ice beneath the palm shattered into dust on impact, and a web of fine cracks spread outward like a spider web --- expanding at incredible speed.

In just a few breaths, the cracks had spread dozens of miles outward.

Everything beneath the ice --- zombies, debris, wreckage --- was torn apart, crushed into fragments.

The once “invulnerable” zombies, now frozen, were obliterated.

Their supposed immunity to blades and bullets, fire and water --- meant nothing in the face of Dustin’s palm. They were completely destroyed.

The deathly aura and corpse toxins within them vanished without a trace, eradicating any chance of resurrection.

The sheer power of that one palm left Li Wenxing and Qian Jin completely speechless. - Ton

I really don’t see how anyone can find this story uninspiring. It is a slow burn but it is exciting to see glimpses of Dustin’s power.

Interception

Li Guanglong’s fingers gently stroked the ornate box, the chill of its silken surface seeping into his fingertips, yet it could not mask the damp sweat pooling in his palm. He glanced at Murong Xue, who was locked in a drinking contest with Batu. Murong was tilting back his head, draining a large bowl of amber-colored liquor. His Adam’s apple bobbed as he swallowed, and in the corner of his eye he cast a fleeting glance toward the copper kettle in the corner of the igloo. That was where they had hidden the prepared knockout drug --- brewed from a poisonous herb of the icefields that gave off a sweet aroma. Once mixed into strong liquor, it was nearly impossible to detect. “Leader Batu truly has a mighty capacity for drink!” Murong Xue slammed his empty bowl down on the table, sending ice shards scattering. “This ‘ice-burn’ liquor cuts like a blade. Ordinary men collapse after three bowls, yet you remain unshaken. Truly worthy of being called the eagle of the snowfields!” Batu r...

Seeking Medicine for a Father

When Li Weimin’s decree was issued, reactions across the factions varied. At that moment, Li Wenxing was in his study, weighing the pros and cons of the recent trip to Southern Frontier. Although he hadn’t stood out much, compared to Li Guanglong and Li Juntang, he was still the more capable one. But this minor advantage clearly wasn’t enough to change the overall outcome. Just then, Qian Jin rushed in and reported, “Your Highness! A message from the palace --- His Majesty’s condition has worsened, and he has only a short time left. He has issued a special decree: any royal family member who can journey to Penglai Island and retrieve the elixir will become the future crown prince!” “Future crown prince?” Hearing this, Li Wenxing’s spirits lifted immediately. But soon after, he frowned. He had, of course, heard of Penglai Island --- but only in legends. Whether it truly existed in the East Sea, and whether it held any elixir that could extend life, remained unknown. ...

The Sea Monster Beneath

Margaret stood before a mountain of nautical charts, her fingertips gliding gently over the yellowed parchment. The cinnabar-red routes drawn on them looked like congealed trails of blood, glowing eerily under the flickering candlelight. When Dustin pushed open the door, he saw her tucking a thick stack of leather-bound ledgers into a rosewood chest. Glimpses of titles like Fresh Water Reserves and Ration Allocations showed her meticulous planning for the upcoming voyage. “Any news from the fishermen?” Dustin asked. Margaret looked up, her eyes reflecting the deepening twilight outside the window. “Su Lan just got back from the harbor. Found an old fisherman with the surname Qin.” “He claims he saw a mirage near the Blackwater Trench three years ago. Said there were floating pavilions and jade towers among the clouds, and at the front stood a stone tablet carved with the word ‘Penglai.’” She paused, tapping her fingers on the desk. “But the old man said the vision lasted ...
