A Fish That Slipped Through the Net?

Golden light surged from all over Dustin, like a blazing sun hanging over the swamp.

Faced with the blood-red cage conjured by Bloodhand, the vortex of venomous insects from Poisonheart, and the bone needles fired by Bonemask, he didn’t retreat --- instead, he advanced, a cold sneer curving at the corner of his lips.

“Such petty tricks, and you dare show them off before me?”

Before his words even faded, Dustin spread his arms wide.

In an instant, countless strands of golden light burst from within him, forming a vast golden net that swept out in all directions.

Just as Bloodhand’s blood prison was about to close in, it was ensnared by the golden threads.

What seemed like an indestructible blood lattice was torn apart as easily as cobwebs.

Seeing this, Bloodhand’s expression changed dramatically. He tried to recall the blood lances, but those golden threads acted as if alive --- racing along the tendrils straight toward his arms.

“Not good!”

His face went pale. He quickly tried to sever the blood threads with his inner force --- but it was too late.

The golden threads crawled up his entire arm in the blink of an eye. Wherever they passed, the red drained away, revealing stark white bone.

“AAAHHH --- !”

A piercing scream tore from Bloodhand’s throat as he watched his arm disintegrate into ash --- without a trace left behind.

Meanwhile, the vortex of venomous insects summoned by Poisonheart met the same fate.

The golden threads sliced through the swarm like blades. The fierce bugs turned to ash upon contact.

Poisonheart was horrified. She had never witnessed such overwhelming power. Desperately, she urged all her insects to fight back --- but it was useless.

The golden threads swept through the swarm like a gust in autumn, eradicating them all. Then they surged straight for Poisonheart.

Terrified, she turned and tried to flee.

But Dustin merely snorted and flicked his fingers. A beam of golden light shot through the air and struck Poisonheart squarely in the back.

Her body went rigid and then slowly crumpled, disintegrating under the burning light until there was nothing left.

As for the bone needles from Bonemask, they couldn’t even get within three feet of Dustin before they were blocked by an invisible golden barrier and disintegrated into powder.

Watching his companions die one after another, Bonemask’s eyes filled with terror. He dared not act again. Instead, he turned and tried to escape into the earth.

“You think you can run?”

Dustin’s voice rang out calmly, not loud, but brimming with authority.

He pointed with two fingers, and a thick golden pillar of light shot up from the ground, trapping Bonemask just as he was about to disappear into it.

Bonemask struggled furiously, but the pillar’s power was immense. No matter how he fought, he couldn’t move.

“Who are you?! Why do you possess such terrifying power?!” Bonemask screamed, his mask of broken bones trembling with fear.

“Hmph! A bunch of evil heretics. Today, I’ll make sure you vanish without a trace!”

Dustin raised his hand, fingers slowly curling into a fist. The golden pillar began to contract.

Bonemask let out a blood-curdling scream as his body was gradually crushed by the pillar until it vanished --- without even ashes left behind.

The three chief enforcers of the Bone Cult --- all Grandmaster-level foes --- were completely powerless in front of Dustin.

After finishing them off, Dustin turned his gaze toward the altar not far away.

It was built entirely from bones, emitting a dense stench of blood and dark energy. Strange runes still glimmered faintly atop it.

Dustin narrowed his eyes and flashed over to the altar in an instant.

He quickly formed a series of hand seals, chanting in a low voice.

As he recited the spell, countless golden runes flew from his body like a meteor shower, landing on the altar.

BOOM!

A loud explosion shook the swamp as the altar began to collapse under the force of the golden runes.

Bones crumbled, and the dark runes were gradually extinguished by the golden light.

Not long after, the entire altar lay in ruins --- reduced to a pile of rubble.

After sweeping his gaze across the surroundings and finding no sign of survivors, Dustin tapped his foot lightly and soared into the sky like a falling star, flying swiftly into the distance.

Moments later ---

Within the ruins of the altar, an elderly man wrapped in bandages slowly crawled out from the dirt.

Once he confirmed the coast was clear, he let out a long sigh of relief.

“To think they’d come all the way here... Good thing I hid in time, or I’d be nothing but dust.”

“No, this must be reported to the Grand Elder immediately. A Landed Celestial has taken notice of us. We must stop all operations at once --- continuing risks bringing total annihilation.”

Without hesitation, the bandaged elder formed a seal with one hand and chanted a spell. His body began to sink into the ground, vanishing swiftly.

He had used an Earth Escape technique.

However, the old man failed to notice that high above the clouds, a white figure silently watched his every move. - Ton

Seeking Medicine for a Father

When Li Weimin’s decree was issued, reactions across the factions varied. At that moment, Li Wenxing was in his study, weighing the pros and cons of the recent trip to Southern Frontier. Although he hadn’t stood out much, compared to Li Guanglong and Li Juntang, he was still the more capable one. But this minor advantage clearly wasn’t enough to change the overall outcome. Just then, Qian Jin rushed in and reported, “Your Highness! A message from the palace --- His Majesty’s condition has worsened, and he has only a short time left. He has issued a special decree: any royal family member who can journey to Penglai Island and retrieve the elixir will become the future crown prince!” “Future crown prince?” Hearing this, Li Wenxing’s spirits lifted immediately. But soon after, he frowned. He had, of course, heard of Penglai Island --- but only in legends. Whether it truly existed in the East Sea, and whether it held any elixir that could extend life, remained unknown. ...

The Swarm of Man-Eating Fish

Dustin landed lightly back on the shattered deck, the golden glow on his longsword gradually fading. Across the sea’s surface, dark green blood floated in thick patches, slowly dispersing in the rain. Far in the distance, the typhoon had vanished without warning. A gap opened in the clouds, allowing sunlight to break through at last, casting warm rays onto the ravaged Wavebreaker . Margaret steadied herself against the swaying rail, gazing out at the now-calm sea, a long sigh of relief escaping her lips. That octopus demon just now had the power of an Ultimate Grandmaster --- its enormous body and terrifying regenerative abilities made it nearly invincible. Even most Ultimate Grandmasters wouldn’t stand a chance against such a monster. Thankfully, they had Dustin. If he hadn't been there, who knows how many lives would have been lost? At last, the sea had calmed, and the storm was receding. The Wavebreaker floated gently atop the waves. The deck was in ruins, littered ...

Breaking The Siege

“Boom!!” A thunderous crash shook the earth. The moment the white figure landed, golden gales erupted from around him. The zombies that had rushed close were instantly shattered, as if colliding with an invisible barrier. Their grayish bodies exploded into fragments. Thick blackish-brown corpse fluid splattered onto the stone bricks, releasing foul-smelling steam that coiled into the air. “It’s that peerless master!” Someone shouted from within the inner gate fortress, and the once-terrified citizens suddenly erupted in thunderous cheers. When the red mist crisis had hit Lincheng, they had seen it with their own eyes --- a divine figure in white had absorbed the entire mist with unfathomable powers, saving the city from destruction. Now, with zombies besieging their ancient stronghold, seeing that familiar white figure again was like witnessing the return of their savior. “He’s finally here!” Li Guanglong, gripping his bloodstained saber, let out a long sigh of reli...
