Who Is This Divine Being?

Wugang City, central district.

Thick red poison mist had erupted from the hospital and was spreading rapidly in all directions.

In just one hour, the toxic mist had already expanded over six to seven kilometers --- more ferocious than a wildfire.

And wherever it touched, it turned everything into ruins.

Any human who came into contact with it would die within two minutes, their body melting into a pool of blood.

Even lifeless objects were corroded until they were riddled with holes.

At this rate, it would only take a single day for the red mist to engulf the entire city and turn it into a lifeless wasteland.

At that moment, on the rooftop of a tall building not far from the city lord’s residence…

Li Wenxing and Qian Jin stood on the rooftop, watching the ever-expanding red mist in the distance with helpless expressions.

They had tried everything --- mobilizing manpower and resources to halt the spread of the mist.

But none of it worked. They had lost many lives in the process.

Now, they had lost all hope.

Unless the red mist stopped on its own, this disaster was completely unstoppable.

But would the mist stop?

Judging by how it was spreading, it clearly wouldn't rest until the entire city was consumed.

“Your Highness, Wugang City is beyond saving. We should leave,” Qian Jin urged again.

They had done everything they could. At this point, the situation was far beyond the capabilities of man.

“Sigh… looks like there really is no way,” Li Wenxing let out a long sigh.

“Your Highness, you’ve done all you can. You don’t need to feel any burden,” Qian Jin said with a slight bow.

“It’s a pity… but honestly, I’m somewhat relieved. The same red mist outbreak has hit Lincheng and Liyang City. My two brothers are probably just as helpless. That puts us back on equal footing,” Li Wenxing said with deeper meaning.

When he first heard about the red mist in Wugang City, his initial reaction was despair.

But when he learned that Lincheng and Liyang City were also in crisis, he felt a strange sense of relief.

At least now he wouldn’t be the only one blamed --- they’d all suffer together.

That, more or less, was the only good news he’d heard in a while.

“Your Highness is absolutely right. This is a natural disaster. What’s happened is beyond human effort. His Majesty will surely understand,” Qian Jin agreed.

“It’s about time. Let’s go.”

Li Wenxing didn’t say much more and turned to leave --- when suddenly, out of the corner of his eye, he caught a flicker in the sky, like a shooting star streaking past.

“Hm?”

Li Wenxing froze slightly, narrowing his eyes to get a better look.

He saw a glowing streak rapidly approaching, headed straight toward Wugang City.

Within just a few breaths, the “shooting star” arrived over the city and landed directly in the middle of the red mist.

“Uncle Qian, look in the sky --- is that a person?” Li Wenxing asked, unsure.

“Yes, Your Highness. That’s definitely a person,” Qian Jin confirmed after a closer look.

“What’s he trying to do? Don’t tell me he plans to enter the mist to save people?” Li Wenxing frowned slightly.

Among his subordinates were even Grandmaster-level fighters, and briefly hovering in midair wasn’t anything remarkable.

However, even Grandmasters couldn’t deal with the red mist.

Exposure to it meant certain death.

“A fool trying to shake a tree. Your Highness needn’t pay him any mind,” Qian Jin scoffed.

But just as he finished speaking, the figure in the distance suddenly moved.

A blinding golden light exploded from around the person, followed by a single point to the sky.

“Buzz---!”

With a deafening roar, a massive energy vortex appeared in the sky.

It spanned a hundred meters wide, filled with crackling lightning and raging storm winds.

The vortex began spinning rapidly.

A terrifying suction force erupted from within.

Centered on the vortex, a wild storm broke out across a ten-kilometer radius.

Even standing on the rooftop, Li Wenxing and Qian Jin could clearly feel themselves being pulled by the immense force.

“What terrifying pressure! Who is this divine being?!”

Both Li Wenxing and Qian Jin were shocked, fear flashing in their eyes.

With just a single motion, he had conjured a hundred-meter-wide energy vortex --- and the oppressive power that followed was something they’d never seen or even heard of.

Could it be the legendary one from Longhu Mountain?

“Buzz---!”

The giant energy vortex let out another thunderous boom.

At the same time, the massive red poison mist that had spread over several kilometers began to rapidly contract.

It looked as if a divine dragon were drinking water from the sky.

The faster the vortex spun, the stronger the suction grew.

The thick red mist was forcibly drawn into the vortex.

In just five minutes, the mist, like a retreating tide, vanished without a trace.

It was completely devoured by the vortex!

Once the red mist was gone, the vortex also faded away, leaving behind a single blood-red pearl suspended in the sky.

The figure in the air reached out across space and drew the pearl into his hand.

Then, like a meteor, he shot off in another direction.

Within a breath, he vanished from sight.

Only a stunned silence remained. - Ton

At this point, the only thing I think will trouble Dustin is his fight with Satan. Other than that, the story now feels like that time when Dustin was in that little town (I forgot the name) and used to easily defeat all his opponents until he met Nestor. But it makes sense if the story is coming to an end.🤷🏾‍♂️

Seeking Medicine for a Father

When Li Weimin’s decree was issued, reactions across the factions varied. At that moment, Li Wenxing was in his study, weighing the pros and cons of the recent trip to Southern Frontier. Although he hadn’t stood out much, compared to Li Guanglong and Li Juntang, he was still the more capable one. But this minor advantage clearly wasn’t enough to change the overall outcome. Just then, Qian Jin rushed in and reported, “Your Highness! A message from the palace --- His Majesty’s condition has worsened, and he has only a short time left. He has issued a special decree: any royal family member who can journey to Penglai Island and retrieve the elixir will become the future crown prince!” “Future crown prince?” Hearing this, Li Wenxing’s spirits lifted immediately. But soon after, he frowned. He had, of course, heard of Penglai Island --- but only in legends. Whether it truly existed in the East Sea, and whether it held any elixir that could extend life, remained unknown. ...

The Swarm of Man-Eating Fish

Dustin landed lightly back on the shattered deck, the golden glow on his longsword gradually fading. Across the sea’s surface, dark green blood floated in thick patches, slowly dispersing in the rain. Far in the distance, the typhoon had vanished without warning. A gap opened in the clouds, allowing sunlight to break through at last, casting warm rays onto the ravaged Wavebreaker . Margaret steadied herself against the swaying rail, gazing out at the now-calm sea, a long sigh of relief escaping her lips. That octopus demon just now had the power of an Ultimate Grandmaster --- its enormous body and terrifying regenerative abilities made it nearly invincible. Even most Ultimate Grandmasters wouldn’t stand a chance against such a monster. Thankfully, they had Dustin. If he hadn't been there, who knows how many lives would have been lost? At last, the sea had calmed, and the storm was receding. The Wavebreaker floated gently atop the waves. The deck was in ruins, littered ...

Breaking The Siege

“Boom!!” A thunderous crash shook the earth. The moment the white figure landed, golden gales erupted from around him. The zombies that had rushed close were instantly shattered, as if colliding with an invisible barrier. Their grayish bodies exploded into fragments. Thick blackish-brown corpse fluid splattered onto the stone bricks, releasing foul-smelling steam that coiled into the air. “It’s that peerless master!” Someone shouted from within the inner gate fortress, and the once-terrified citizens suddenly erupted in thunderous cheers. When the red mist crisis had hit Lincheng, they had seen it with their own eyes --- a divine figure in white had absorbed the entire mist with unfathomable powers, saving the city from destruction. Now, with zombies besieging their ancient stronghold, seeing that familiar white figure again was like witnessing the return of their savior. “He’s finally here!” Li Guanglong, gripping his bloodstained saber, let out a long sigh of reli...
