Forced Confession

“You… What did you do to me?!”

Pei Nan struggled frantically, but her entire body was paralyzed. She couldn’t even move a finger.

As a Half-Step Grandmaster, she had never experienced anything like this before.

It felt like an ant facing a mountain --- utterly powerless.

“Don’t be nervous. I’m not going to kill you.”

Dustin smiled slightly and walked slowly toward her, locking eyes with her. “I’m going to ask you two questions. If you answer honestly, I’ll let you go. But if you lie, I’ll make you regret everything you’ve done today.”

“Hmph! Just kill me! You think I’m afraid of you?!”

Pei Nan looked as if she were ready to die without fear.

To her, death meant returning to the embrace of the True Bone God --- it would be a release.

“I said I won’t kill you. But I will make you suffer a little.”

As he spoke, Dustin flicked his finger. A silver needle shot forward and pierced Pei Nan’s body.

“Ahhh!”

As the needle entered her body, Pei Nan instantly felt an unbearable, searing pain, and screamed in agony.

The worst part was --- it only got worse. The pain surged in waves, each stronger than the last, seemingly endless.

“What did you do to me?! If you have the guts, just kill me!” Pei Nan roared, her face twisted with pain.

But there was nothing she could do. She could only scream helplessly and endure the torment --- not even able to end her own life.

“Already begging for death? I’m just getting started.”

Dustin pulled out another silver needle and smiled. “I have 108 of these. Each one I use will double your pain. I rarely use this technique. Consider yourself lucky today --- you get to experience my specialty.”

“You monster! You’ll die a horrible death! The True Bone God will punish you!” Pei Nan howled, her face distorted with rage.

“My first question: where is your so-called True Bone God?”

As Dustin spoke, he flicked another needle into her body.

“Ahhh!”

Pei Nan screamed even louder.

Cold sweat poured down her body. Her muscles twitched uncontrollably.

And yet --- she couldn’t move. The soul-crushing pain pierced deep into her very spirit.

An ordinary person would’ve passed out long ago. But somehow, Pei Nan remained conscious.

It was as if an invisible force was keeping her awake --- forcing her to endure every second.

“No rush. I have all day to play with you.”

Dustin’s expression didn’t change as he calmly launched needle after needle into her body.

Pei Nan’s cries of agony echoed endlessly --- shrill and piercing, enough to make one’s scalp crawl.

By now, Margaret and Su Lan had returned to the scene.

Once Dustin forced the red mist to retreat, the danger to them had disappeared.

Now, they simply watched from the side, cold-eyed, as Pei Nan was punished.

Someone like her --- a remnant of the Bone Cult who ruined countless lives --- deserved no sympathy.

If not for Dustin being here today, both of them would be dead.

And not just them --- the entire village, the whole town, maybe even the whole of Pucheng --- would’ve been turned into ruins.

If that had happened, the death toll wouldn’t have been one or two people --- it would’ve been over a million.

To someone this evil, even dismemberment would be too kind.

Time passed, minute by minute.

Pei Nan’s screams never ceased.

After nearly two hours, she finally broke. She couldn’t take it anymore --- and gave in.

“I’ll talk… I’ll tell you everything… Please… just stop hurting me…”

She was soaked in sweat, face pale as death. Her muscles spasmed uncontrollably from the pain.

It was her body’s natural reaction --- completely out of her control.

She had thought her willpower was strong. But in the face of this endless torment, it meant nothing.

The pain chipped away at her resolve, eating at her sanity.

She now truly understood what it meant to be unable to live or die.

She couldn’t take it anymore. She only wanted relief.

“See? If you’d done this sooner, it would’ve been over by now.”

With a wave of his hand, Dustin withdrew over thirty silver needles from her body.

Instantly, Pei Nan felt her body relax --- as if she had entered heaven.

“I’ll ask again. Where is this ‘True Bone God’ you keep talking about?” Dustin asked.

“The True Bone God… is everywhere. As long as there are enough sacrifices, the True Bone God can be reborn in the Bone Sanctuary… and from there, rule the world,” Pei Nan said weakly.

“So it seems your so-called god hasn’t appeared yet?”

Dustin nodded slightly. “Which means, you created this plague to revive this so-called True Bone God?”

“Yes… Only the True Bone God can lead the Bone Cult to its peak,” Pei Nan replied, no longer hiding anything.

At this point, her spirit had broken. She was answering purely out of instinct and fear.

“Good. Second question --- how many members does the Bone Cult still have? And where is your headquarters?” Dustin asked again.

“I don’t know how many members there are. That’s under the control of the Three Great Elders. As for the headquarters, it’s located in ---”

Before she could finish her sentence, there was a loud BANG --- Pei Nan’s head suddenly exploded. - Ton

Life or Death?

At this moment, Hera was completely terrified. When she saw Dustin effortlessly dissolve her attack, she had already started thinking about retreating. Her instincts told her that Dustin was not someone to be trifled with --- he was an extremely dangerous individual. Still, she clung to a sliver of hope, thinking that with Zeus by her side, the two of them together might still stand a chance. But now, after watching Zeus get severely injured and lose an arm with just one strike, she completely panicked. Her strength was already a bit weaker than Zeus’. If even Zeus couldn’t withstand a single strike from Dustin, there was no way she could either. So, the instant she saw Dustin raise his hand again, Hera didn’t hesitate for even a moment. She pushed off with her feet, launching herself into the air like a streak of light, fleeing rapidly into the sky. At this point, all she wanted was to save her own life. As for Zeus’s survival? That was no longer her concern. Rig...

Trouble Arrives at the Door

“I was quite surprised that I managed to bring back the Dragon Source Qi so smoothly this time. Honestly, I was even prepared to fall out completely with Li Juntang,” said Dustin. “Oh? How so?” Margarert raised an eyebrow, clearly intrigued. Dustin didn't hold back. He carefully recounted everything that had happened, including Li Juntang’s sudden and unusual friendliness, as well as Hongniang’s intervention and her decision to follow him. “What do you think Li Juntang is really up to? He was incredibly suspicious of me just a day before --- nearly fought me --- yet the next day he completely changed, became overly friendly, and even gifted me one of the great beauties from the Rouge List. It's baffling.” Dustin shook his head. “In my view, this probably has something to do with Li Juntang’s mother, Consort Spanner,” Margarert said after a moment of contemplation. “Consort Spanner is shrewd and calculating. She must have realized that Li Juntang isn't your match...

Transcendent and Otherworldly

A burst of golden light suddenly appeared, neutralizing Zeus’s attack and at the same time saving Margaret from having her cultivation abolished. As the golden light gradually faded, a handsome young man emerged before the crowd. His hair was completely white, his clothes were ragged, but his entire being exuded a transcendent and otherworldly aura. He stood there silently in front of Margaret, like an unshakable mountain. “Dustin?” Seeing the white-haired, handsome man, Margaret finally let out a long breath of relief. She knew she was saved --- and so was everyone in the ancient temple. Although Dustin now had white hair, his appearance hadn’t changed much. But the aura he carried was now touched with an undefinable trace of divinity --- something she had never sensed before. And that alone was enough to prove that Dustin had broken through to a new realm. “You’ve worked hard.” Dustin turned and gave Margaret a gentle nod. A strand of golden light suddenly pou...
