Sending You to the Gates of Hell

Night is falling quickly.

General Long Wei sat in the room, trying to calm his mind through meditation.

He doesn't know why, he used to be able to concentrate easily, but now he can't calm down at all.

He always feel uncomfortable.

Just like that, after about two hours, the people Liu Jun sent out to investigate finally arrived.

And it also brought good news.

The smuggling route they explored was very safe, and there were no signs of ambush.

The West Lucozia army obviously has not discovered this way of survival.

After confirming that there was no problem, Liu Jun couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief. General Long Wei's heart was finally at ease.

"Since it's safe, let's set off quickly to avoid any more trouble!" General Long Wei was unwilling to wait any longer.

He is now wanted on a grand scale. Every minute he stays in West Lucozia, the more dangerous it becomes. He may be surrounded by a large army at any time.

Only by escaping from West Lucozia and heading to Bohai Kingdom would he be truly safe.

"Pack up and let's go!"

Liu Jun did not waste any time. After simply disguising himself, the group quickly went out.

It was a quiet night in the countryside, and an ordinary van was carrying several people along the way.

After driving for about an hour, the vehicle finally stopped at a fork in the road.

"There is a small road ahead, and vehicles cannot go forward. We can only walk."

Liu Jun greeted and got out of the car first. General Long Wei followed closely behind him without saying much.

The few of them walked quickly along the path, and in less than half an hour, they had reached the smuggling dock.

The pier is not big, with a dozen fishing boats parked scattered around it. It looks like a temporary stop for fishing and is quite inconspicuous.

At this point, the fishermen have all gone home.

There were many fishing boats floating on the sea, and only one of them had its lights on.

A man dressed as a fisherman was lying on the deck to rest, with a straw hat covering his face.

"Is this the smuggling point you mentioned? Are you kidding me?"

Looking at the fishing boat in front, General Long Wei immediately frowned.

These are private fishing boats, the largest of which is no more than seven or eight meters. There is nothing wrong with going out to sea for some fun when the weather is calm.

Whenever there is a little wind and waves, there is a risk of capsizing.

They were going to take a boat and spend several days on the sea.

If a storm occurs on the way, a fishing boat of this size will be scattered by the wind and waves and will have no ability to protect itself at all.

Even if he is a half-step ultimate grandmaster, once the boat capsizes into the sea, he will die!

He really doesn't understand, is Liu Jun stupid? Or is he not afraid of death at all?

"General, please be patient."

Liu Jun said calmly: "I should have known that this kind of fishing boats cannot cross the ocean. Relying on them to go to Bohai State is tantamount to suicide."

"So what?" General Long Wei still frowned.

"Actually, I have already made arrangements. These fishing boats are just to carry us for a while. Outside the city, our Pantheon has also prepared a luxury ship as a real means of crossing the sea, so the general does not have to worry about safety issues at all." Liu Jun explained.

"So that's how it is. I was shocked." General Long Wei breathed a sigh of relief.

Liu Jun is a meticulous person and logically would not make such a low-level mistake.

"If the news hadn't been so tight, I wouldn't have done such a thing." Liu Jun smiled.

Fishing boats are small and very ordinary, making them perfect for concealing their identities.

If we use a ship to pick people up directly, it will easily attract attention and bring trouble upon themselves.

To be on the safe side, they had no choice but to stop the ship farther away.

"General, I've just observed that there is no ambush around. It's very safe. Please go in." Liu Jun looked around.

After making sure there were no suspicious points, he finally appeared with General Longwei.

Under the cover of night, several people moved forward in the dark and approached the fishing boat with its lights on.

"Boatman, everyone is here, we can set sail now." Liu Jun jumped onto the bow first.

On the deck, the fisherman who was sleeping with his legs crossed showed no reaction, as if he hadn't heard anything.

"Hey! Boatman! Wake up!" Liu Jun kicked the fisherman impatiently.

"Oh my! You guys are finally here. I've been waiting for so long!"

The fisherman seemed to have just woken up from a dream. He stretched himself, yawned, and slowly sat down.

"It's not like we haven't paid yet, so why are you talking so much nonsense? Set sail quickly!" Liu Jun urged.

"Set sail? Where to?" the fisherman asked lazily.

"Where else can we go? Of course we can go out to sea!" Liu Jun frowned.

"I'm sorry, but my boat can't go out to sea."

The fisherman slowly took off his straw hat, revealing a handsome face. He smiled and said, "I can only send you to the gates of hell. Are you interested?" - Ton

Seeking Medicine for a Father

When Li Weimin’s decree was issued, reactions across the factions varied. At that moment, Li Wenxing was in his study, weighing the pros and cons of the recent trip to Southern Frontier. Although he hadn’t stood out much, compared to Li Guanglong and Li Juntang, he was still the more capable one. But this minor advantage clearly wasn’t enough to change the overall outcome. Just then, Qian Jin rushed in and reported, “Your Highness! A message from the palace --- His Majesty’s condition has worsened, and he has only a short time left. He has issued a special decree: any royal family member who can journey to Penglai Island and retrieve the elixir will become the future crown prince!” “Future crown prince?” Hearing this, Li Wenxing’s spirits lifted immediately. But soon after, he frowned. He had, of course, heard of Penglai Island --- but only in legends. Whether it truly existed in the East Sea, and whether it held any elixir that could extend life, remained unknown. ...

The Swarm of Man-Eating Fish

Dustin landed lightly back on the shattered deck, the golden glow on his longsword gradually fading. Across the sea’s surface, dark green blood floated in thick patches, slowly dispersing in the rain. Far in the distance, the typhoon had vanished without warning. A gap opened in the clouds, allowing sunlight to break through at last, casting warm rays onto the ravaged Wavebreaker . Margaret steadied herself against the swaying rail, gazing out at the now-calm sea, a long sigh of relief escaping her lips. That octopus demon just now had the power of an Ultimate Grandmaster --- its enormous body and terrifying regenerative abilities made it nearly invincible. Even most Ultimate Grandmasters wouldn’t stand a chance against such a monster. Thankfully, they had Dustin. If he hadn't been there, who knows how many lives would have been lost? At last, the sea had calmed, and the storm was receding. The Wavebreaker floated gently atop the waves. The deck was in ruins, littered ...

Frozen Wasteland

The ice sculptures shimmered with a cold light in the biting wind, the soldiers’ twisted faces sealed inside the crystalized frost, as if still crying out from the agony of being frozen alive. Li Guanglong stared at those figures, his Adam’s apple rolling a few times as he forced down the tremor in his chest. He raised a hand to rub his still-stiff arm. The spot that had been swept by the white mist earlier was still faintly bruised with purplish-blue, the chill seeming to seep deep into his very bones. “Your Highness, that spirit deer carries a poisonous cold beyond imagination.” Wan Zhong leaned on his blade as he walked over, the wound on his lone arm having split open again from the cold. Blood seeped through the bandages, dripping scarlet dots onto the snow. He gazed toward where the deer had vanished, his eyes full of dread. “We’d best hold our camp steady for now, and not recklessly provoke the creatures of this island again.” Li Guanglong nodded silently. His earlier ...
