Beheaded with One Sword

After a while, the turbulent sea finally calmed down.

Only the diffuse steam cloud, like a huge monster, slowly spread out in all directions, as if telling the story of the thrilling battle that just took place.

Dustin held the Sky Sword in his hand, stood on the sea with a serious expression, his eyes fixed on the front.

His clothes were torn and his body was covered with wounds. Blood kept dripping from his wounds, dyeing the sea water under his feet red.

“Boom!”

Suddenly, a headless corpse emerged from the sea.

The corpse was covered with blue scales, and there was a pair of tattered blue flesh wings on its back. Its body was riddled with holes.

The deep blue blood mixed with the sea water and gradually disappeared into thin air.

This is not the corpse of Poseidon!

“Dead…dead? How is that possible?!”

Looking at the headless corpse floating on the sea, General Long Wei and Liu Jun and his men couldn't help but widen their eyes with expressions of horror.

They never thought that the God King of the Pantheon, the most powerful man in the world, would die under Dustin's sword.

If they hadn't seen it with their own eyes, they really couldn't believe the result.

"An ultimate grandmaster in his teens who can kill the god king Poseidon. What kind of monster is this guy?!"

At this moment, General Long Wei and his companions began to tremble, and an indescribable fear enveloped their hearts.

It became so difficult for them to breathe, as if an invisible hand was holding their throats.

When he first saw the god Poseidon, General Long Wei was overjoyed and thought he had been successfully rescued.

Unexpectedly, after a fierce battle, the God King Poseidon was beheaded by Dustin with one sword.

That sword not only cut off Poseidon's head, but also cut off his last hope for life.

"Huh...finally done."

Dustin let out a long sigh. The Xuanqing Qi in his body was almost exhausted and he was on the verge of exhaustion.

One has to admit that the God King Poseidon is indeed very strong. Even if he tried his best, he could only win by a narrow margin.

If the sword just now had not failed to cut off his head and destroy his life force, if he continued to be beaten like this, he would have been exhausted to death sooner or later.

And as far as he knew, Poseidon was not the strongest among the four gods, the truly powerful one was the king of gods Zeus.

If the man I meet today is Zeus, it is still unknown who will win.

"Quick! Sieve this place up and don't let anyone go!"

At this moment, there was a noise behind them.

Looking back, they saw Thorian personally leading the team, leading thousands of West Lucozia soldiers and horses, and marching towards the killing pier in a mighty manner.

The noise from the battle between Dustin and Poseidon just now was truly earth-shattering, it would have been hard for it not to have been known.

The moment he received the news, Thorian immediately gathered his troops and swarmed over.

However, the most difficult Poseidon had been dealt with by Dustin, and the remaining ones were all seriously injured and basically no longer posed a threat.

Dustin dragged his exhausted body from the sea all the way to the dock, and then sat down on the ground without any image.

There's no way, I'm just too tired.

"Brother! How are you? Are you okay?"

Thorian, with a team of Wandering Dragon Guards, quickly rushed to Dustin, his face full of worry.

He really didn't expect that capturing a powerful general like Long Wei would not cause his elder brother to get hurt.

"It's nothing, just some superficial injuries. They will be fine after a few days of rest." Dustin shook his head.

"Brother! This is a Qi and Blood Pill, which will help recover from injuries!" Thorian quickly took out one and handed it to Dustin.

Dustin didn't hesitate and swallowed it in one gulp.

The pill melted as it entered his throat, and turned into a warm current that filled his limbs and bones. He finally got some replenishment from the energy he had just consumed.

"Brother, what happened just now? Who is that expert who showed up out of nowhere?" Thorian's face was solemn.

From a distance, he saw his elder brother fighting with an extremely powerful man on the sea, but that man was obviously not General Long Wei.

"The King of Gods in the Pantheon, Poseidon." Dustin replied.

"What? The God King Poseidon? He actually came to West Lucozia?" Thorian frowned.

The gods of the Pantheon never go out easily, but they didn't expect that for the sake of General Longwei, the Pantheon would send Poseidon to meet them.

No wonder my eldest brother had such a hard time fighting.

"Poseidon is dead, but his body is still worth studying. Let's get him back quickly." Dustin looked back.

That huge body was still floating on the sea.

"General Shi! Salvage the body!"

Thorian turned around and gave an order.

"yes!"

Shi Changning responded and immediately jumped into the sea, then rushed across the sea at an extremely fast speed.

After rushing to a distance, he grabbed Poseidon's headless body, quickly returned again, and returned to the dock.

“Boom!”

Poseidon's headless body was thrown roughly to the ground.

The originally dazzling blue scales are now dull and appear a deathly gray.

"Um?"

Dustin glanced around and vaguely felt that something was wrong.

Normally speaking, even after death, a master-level warrior will still have vigorous vitality in his body, which will not dissipate in a short period of time.

But right now, Poseidon's body had no life at all, as if all the blood and energy had been drained out.

"General Shi, where is Poseidon's head?" Dustin asked.

"I didn't see it. I guess it sank to the bottom of the sea." Shi Changning shook his head.

"Immediately organize a team of soldiers to salvage the head!" Dustin ordered.

"Yes!" Shi Changning nodded.

Afterwards, he gathered his troops and called for a fleet, and began to fish around the place where the battle had taken place.

"Brother, do you think Poseidon's death was strange?" Thorian reacted quickly.

If there wasn't something strange, my elder brother wouldn't have mobilized so many people to salvage the head.

"It's hard to say. I hope I'm overthinking it." Dustin looked into the distance.

If an ordinary master-level warrior had his head chopped off, he would surely die.

But at the level of God King, there will be many unknown abilities.

Before the head was found, he was not 100% sure whether Poseidon was really dead. - Ton

Seeking Medicine for a Father

When Li Weimin’s decree was issued, reactions across the factions varied. At that moment, Li Wenxing was in his study, weighing the pros and cons of the recent trip to Southern Frontier. Although he hadn’t stood out much, compared to Li Guanglong and Li Juntang, he was still the more capable one. But this minor advantage clearly wasn’t enough to change the overall outcome. Just then, Qian Jin rushed in and reported, “Your Highness! A message from the palace --- His Majesty’s condition has worsened, and he has only a short time left. He has issued a special decree: any royal family member who can journey to Penglai Island and retrieve the elixir will become the future crown prince!” “Future crown prince?” Hearing this, Li Wenxing’s spirits lifted immediately. But soon after, he frowned. He had, of course, heard of Penglai Island --- but only in legends. Whether it truly existed in the East Sea, and whether it held any elixir that could extend life, remained unknown. ...

The Swarm of Man-Eating Fish

Dustin landed lightly back on the shattered deck, the golden glow on his longsword gradually fading. Across the sea’s surface, dark green blood floated in thick patches, slowly dispersing in the rain. Far in the distance, the typhoon had vanished without warning. A gap opened in the clouds, allowing sunlight to break through at last, casting warm rays onto the ravaged Wavebreaker . Margaret steadied herself against the swaying rail, gazing out at the now-calm sea, a long sigh of relief escaping her lips. That octopus demon just now had the power of an Ultimate Grandmaster --- its enormous body and terrifying regenerative abilities made it nearly invincible. Even most Ultimate Grandmasters wouldn’t stand a chance against such a monster. Thankfully, they had Dustin. If he hadn't been there, who knows how many lives would have been lost? At last, the sea had calmed, and the storm was receding. The Wavebreaker floated gently atop the waves. The deck was in ruins, littered ...

Frozen Wasteland

The ice sculptures shimmered with a cold light in the biting wind, the soldiers’ twisted faces sealed inside the crystalized frost, as if still crying out from the agony of being frozen alive. Li Guanglong stared at those figures, his Adam’s apple rolling a few times as he forced down the tremor in his chest. He raised a hand to rub his still-stiff arm. The spot that had been swept by the white mist earlier was still faintly bruised with purplish-blue, the chill seeming to seep deep into his very bones. “Your Highness, that spirit deer carries a poisonous cold beyond imagination.” Wan Zhong leaned on his blade as he walked over, the wound on his lone arm having split open again from the cold. Blood seeped through the bandages, dripping scarlet dots onto the snow. He gazed toward where the deer had vanished, his eyes full of dread. “We’d best hold our camp steady for now, and not recklessly provoke the creatures of this island again.” Li Guanglong nodded silently. His earlier ...
