Bad and Stupid

Thorian sat on the chair, quietly watching the pretentious ministers of remonstrance, without any response.

He even drank tea leisurely, as if he didn't care about these so-called accusations at all.

This nonchalant look made An Rhys and others frown.

The voices of condemnation gradually became quieter.

They are talking so enthusiastically here, but the other party doesn't respond at all. Isn't this like talking to a cow?

"Are you done?"

After the noise gradually died down, Thorian finally spoke: "If you haven't finished, then say a few more words until you are satisfied."

"Young Prince! We are discussing serious matters with you. Your casual attitude is really disappointing!" An Rhys said in a deep voice.

"Let's talk about business? Haha..."

Thorian chuckled: "You don't even know the ins and outs of this matter, yet you are so brazen as to make accusations. In my eyes, you are no different from clowns."

"You-you are arrogant!"

An Rhys was obviously angry, and said angrily: "We are all ministers appointed by the prince, and we have the power to challenge all injustices. You are now abusing your power and harming loyal ministers. This is unreasonable and illegal. We must protest!"

"That's right! We want justice for General Long Wei!" everyone echoed.

"Protest? Justice?"

Hearing this, Thorian suddenly laughed, as if he had heard some huge joke.

"What are you laughing at?" An Rhys's face was gloomy.

"I laugh at your ignorance, your stupidity, and your self-righteousness!"

As he was laughing, Thorian's face suddenly turned cold: "Why do you think General Long Wei is innocent? And why do you think I made a wrong judgment? You haven't even figured out the truth of the matter, but you put a lot of accusations on me and whitewashed the heinous crimes of this generation. Should I say you are stupid or bad?"

"We only see you stirring up trouble in the city, making people panic, and bullying others with your hegemony. We don't see anything else!" An Rhys retorted loudly.

Yeah? Well today, I will let you see it clearly!”

Thorian waved his hand and said, "Wang Mang! Bring out all the evidence and let these so-called righteous people see who is the real villain!"

"yes!"

Wang Mang responded, and then placed all the prepared evidence on the table one by one.

Every charge was recorded clearly, and these were only the ones recorded, there were many that were not recorded.

"If you're not blind, look for yourself!" Thorian said coldly.

At this moment, he has lost his patience.

These old guys are not only bad, but also stupid, the kind that is hopelessly stupid.

Anyone who is a little smart would not come to cause trouble at this time.

"How is it possible? Are these all crimes committed by General Long Wei?"

"Isn't that too exaggerated? Even TV doesn't dare to show it like that!"

Looking at the large amount of evidence before them, the ministers could not help but look at each other with frowns.

These crimes are not ordinary corruption and bribery, but a true disregard for human life.

There are hundreds of direct victims alone, and countless indirect victims.

Just looking at the photos and records makes their scalp tingle.

Although they have some stains, it is far from this level.

It is no exaggeration to describe it as something that is outrageous to both humans and gods.

If these crimes were truly committed by General Longwei, then aren't they aiding and abetting the tyrant by coming here today to complain for him?

"Now, what else do you have to say?!" Thorian snorted coldly.

Faced with the questioning, the ministers looked at each other and were speechless for a moment.

If General Long Wei's crime is truly unforgivable, then even if they have the courage of heaven, they would not dare to plead for him.

"No! Impossible!"

After reading it, An Rhys's face turned extremely gloomy, but he still insisted: "Where did you get these so-called evidences? How could a dignified General Longwei, a loyal and courageous man, do such a cruel thing? In my opinion, someone deliberately framed him!"

After this was said, many people nodded and felt that it made sense.

In their eyes, General Long Wei fought all his life for his country and his people, and was a great hero.

It is normal for the other party to make small mistakes under impulse.

But it is unlikely that someone would do such a thing that disregards human life.

Maybe some hostile foreign forces deliberately framed him in order to corrupt the internal situation of West Lucozia.

"An Rhys! The ironclad evidence of his guilt is right in front of you, yet you are still stubborn. Could it be that you and General Long Wei are doing something shady that may not be exposed to the public?!" Thorian's eyes were filled with coldness.

His patience has been exhausted.

Considering that the other party was an elder in the clan, he endured it again and again and never lost his temper.

But if the other party doesn't know what's good for him and continues to pester Thorian, Thorian won't blame himself for turning against him! - Ton

Life or Death?

At this moment, Hera was completely terrified. When she saw Dustin effortlessly dissolve her attack, she had already started thinking about retreating. Her instincts told her that Dustin was not someone to be trifled with --- he was an extremely dangerous individual. Still, she clung to a sliver of hope, thinking that with Zeus by her side, the two of them together might still stand a chance. But now, after watching Zeus get severely injured and lose an arm with just one strike, she completely panicked. Her strength was already a bit weaker than Zeus’. If even Zeus couldn’t withstand a single strike from Dustin, there was no way she could either. So, the instant she saw Dustin raise his hand again, Hera didn’t hesitate for even a moment. She pushed off with her feet, launching herself into the air like a streak of light, fleeing rapidly into the sky. At this point, all she wanted was to save her own life. As for Zeus’s survival? That was no longer her concern. Rig...

Trouble Arrives at the Door

“I was quite surprised that I managed to bring back the Dragon Source Qi so smoothly this time. Honestly, I was even prepared to fall out completely with Li Juntang,” said Dustin. “Oh? How so?” Margarert raised an eyebrow, clearly intrigued. Dustin didn't hold back. He carefully recounted everything that had happened, including Li Juntang’s sudden and unusual friendliness, as well as Hongniang’s intervention and her decision to follow him. “What do you think Li Juntang is really up to? He was incredibly suspicious of me just a day before --- nearly fought me --- yet the next day he completely changed, became overly friendly, and even gifted me one of the great beauties from the Rouge List. It's baffling.” Dustin shook his head. “In my view, this probably has something to do with Li Juntang’s mother, Consort Spanner,” Margarert said after a moment of contemplation. “Consort Spanner is shrewd and calculating. She must have realized that Li Juntang isn't your match...

Transcendent and Otherworldly

A burst of golden light suddenly appeared, neutralizing Zeus’s attack and at the same time saving Margaret from having her cultivation abolished. As the golden light gradually faded, a handsome young man emerged before the crowd. His hair was completely white, his clothes were ragged, but his entire being exuded a transcendent and otherworldly aura. He stood there silently in front of Margaret, like an unshakable mountain. “Dustin?” Seeing the white-haired, handsome man, Margaret finally let out a long breath of relief. She knew she was saved --- and so was everyone in the ancient temple. Although Dustin now had white hair, his appearance hadn’t changed much. But the aura he carried was now touched with an undefinable trace of divinity --- something she had never sensed before. And that alone was enough to prove that Dustin had broken through to a new realm. “You’ve worked hard.” Dustin turned and gave Margaret a gentle nod. A strand of golden light suddenly pou...
