Self-destruction

The sounds of shouting and weapons clashing rose and fell in the shadows of the street lamps.

The figures of the two people were intertwined and fighting continuously, and blood was splattered everywhere for a while.

The surrounding area was in a mess.

After fighting for nearly an incense stick of time, the noise gradually died down, and the figures fell one after another in a pool of blood.

In the dim light of the street lamps, you can see that the three killers in black are dead.

One had his neck crushed; one had his chest pierced; and another was so badly injured that he bled to death.

On the other hand, the situation of Zhengjun Duncan and Liu Qiang is not much better.

Liu Qiang's entire body was covered in blood and various scars, half of which were so deep that the bone was visible!

As for Zhengjun Duncan, he was also seriously injured. He had knife wounds on his abdomen and shoulders, and his arm was cut off. He looked extremely miserable.

“Cough… cough cough…”

After getting rid of the last killer, Liu Qiang collapsed to the ground powerlessly, gasping for breath and spitting blood.

His chest and abdomen had been cut open, his internal organs had spilled out, his face was pale, and he was barely breathing, clearly dying.

He was just relying on his strong willpower to hold on, which was like a last gasp of energy.

Once the enemy falls, his momentum will be lost and his opportunity will quickly slip away.

“Brother Liu… Brother Liu!”

Zhengjun Duncan covered his wound, staggered to his feet, and moved step by step to Liu Qiang's side.

Looking at his comrade lying on the ground, spitting blood, Zhengjun Duncan felt as if his heart was being cut by a knife.

He quickly took out the pill and fed it into Liu Qiang's mouth, while at the same time tearing his clothes and bandaging him to stop the bleeding.

However, Liu Qiang's injuries were so serious that the pills were useless and simple bandages could not stop the bleeding at all.

"Lao Liu! Hold on! I'll take you to the hospital right away!"

Zhengjun Duncan panicked and tried to pick up Liu Qiang.

However, with one arm broken, he was unable to maintain his balance and failed several times.

"Old Duncan...listen to me..."

Liu Qiang placed his blood-stained palm on Zhengjun Duncan's arm and said weakly, "I am already dying. Leave now while there is still a chance... I'll leave my wife and children in your care from now on... …”

"No! You will be fine. We have come out of the mountains of corpses and seas of blood. How can we collapse here? Hold on! I will take you away right away!"

Zhengjun Duncan carried Liu Qiang on his back with difficulty, then limped towards the truck.

Wherever he passed, he left a trail of blood.

Although Zhengjun Duncan tried very hard, Liu Qiang couldn't hold on in the end. His head drooped limply to one side, and he was completely dead.

"Brother Liu! Brother Liu! Wake up!"

Zhengjun Duncan noticed something unusual and started shouting loudly to Liu Qiang behind him.

However, Liu Qiang did not react at all. He was quiet and seemed to be asleep.

Zhengjun Duncan paused, his eyes turning red.

Liu Qiang could have had a happy life, but because of his involvement, he suffered an unexpected disaster and died.

At this moment, his heart was filled with sadness and self-blame.

If I hadn't entrusted Liu Qiang with the task, if I hadn't had conflicts with those tigers and wolves, perhaps nothing would have happened.

“Woo --- woo --- !”

Just as Zhengjun Duncan was feeling grief-stricken, several black commercial vehicles suddenly came speeding over, then braked suddenly, blocking the middle of the road.

As the car door opened, more than a dozen killers in black clothes and masks filed out and quickly surrounded Zhengjun Duncan.

One of the leading assassins glanced at the corpse of his companion in front of him, frowned slightly, and said coldly: "You are indeed quite powerful to be able to kill my three brothers, but unfortunately, you still can't escape."

"Were you sent by General Longwei?" Zhengjun Duncan gritted his teeth.

"A dying man doesn't need to know so much." The assassin leader made a gesture: "Capture him!"

As soon as these words were spoken, all the killers rushed forward.

"I'm going to fight you!"

Zhengjun Duncan roared, waving his one arm and rushed into the crowd, launching his final counterattack.

At this moment, Zhengjun Duncan was determined to die. Although his body was broken, his fighting power was not reduced at all.

Because of anger, his attacks became even crazier.

If your arms are not enough, then use your teeth to bite, use your head to butt, and use up your last bit of strength to injure the enemy as much as possible.

"Catch him alive!" the killer leader reminded.

More than a dozen killers were afraid to use their weapons and did not dare to press too hard. They could only use the method of maneuvering and pulling to continuously consume Zhengjun Duncan's physical strength.

After a short while, Zhengjun Duncan was exhausted, panting, sweating, and his injuries became more serious.

If he continues to fight like this, the enemy will collapse from exhaustion without him having to make any move.

Seeing that he had no strength to resist anymore, a look of determination flashed in Zhengjun Duncan's eyes.

"Want to capture me alive? You are just dreaming!"

"Even if I die, I will never let you succeed!"

Zhengjun Duncan suddenly shouted loudly, then raised his hand and slapped himself on the top of his head.

With no way out, he simply chose to commit suicide. - Ton

Life or Death?

At this moment, Hera was completely terrified. When she saw Dustin effortlessly dissolve her attack, she had already started thinking about retreating. Her instincts told her that Dustin was not someone to be trifled with --- he was an extremely dangerous individual. Still, she clung to a sliver of hope, thinking that with Zeus by her side, the two of them together might still stand a chance. But now, after watching Zeus get severely injured and lose an arm with just one strike, she completely panicked. Her strength was already a bit weaker than Zeus’. If even Zeus couldn’t withstand a single strike from Dustin, there was no way she could either. So, the instant she saw Dustin raise his hand again, Hera didn’t hesitate for even a moment. She pushed off with her feet, launching herself into the air like a streak of light, fleeing rapidly into the sky. At this point, all she wanted was to save her own life. As for Zeus’s survival? That was no longer her concern. Rig...

Elder Whitebone

Li Juntang knew the white figure was powerful, but he hadn’t expected it to be this powerful. In just a matter of minutes, the figure had devoured the overwhelming red mist using a technique like a divine dragon drawing in water, leaving not a trace behind. Such divine ability was far beyond anything he could imagine. Seeing it with his own eyes was far more shocking than anything he’d heard. Once the red mist vanished, the white figure waved a hand, and the energy vortex quickly dissipated. A blood-red bead slowly floated down from high above and finally landed in the white figure’s palm. Seeing the opportunity was ripe, Li Juntang immediately channeled his true qi and shouted, “You have dispersed the poisonous mist with divine powers and saved the entire city from disaster. I, Li Juntang, thank you on behalf of the people of this city. May I have the honor of meeting you face to face to express our gratitude properly?” This statement was skillfully crafted --- first, p...

Transcendent and Otherworldly

A burst of golden light suddenly appeared, neutralizing Zeus’s attack and at the same time saving Margaret from having her cultivation abolished. As the golden light gradually faded, a handsome young man emerged before the crowd. His hair was completely white, his clothes were ragged, but his entire being exuded a transcendent and otherworldly aura. He stood there silently in front of Margaret, like an unshakable mountain. “Dustin?” Seeing the white-haired, handsome man, Margaret finally let out a long breath of relief. She knew she was saved --- and so was everyone in the ancient temple. Although Dustin now had white hair, his appearance hadn’t changed much. But the aura he carried was now touched with an undefinable trace of divinity --- something she had never sensed before. And that alone was enough to prove that Dustin had broken through to a new realm. “You’ve worked hard.” Dustin turned and gave Margaret a gentle nod. A strand of golden light suddenly pou...
